Client success stories

Alex Coward - The Kitchen Tap, Garstang

"I have used Michael's services on many occasions over the last 25 years, on all matters surrounding licensed premises. His expertise proved invaluable and enabled us to concentrate on the successful opening of businesses, without the additional stress of licensing matters. I would recommend his services without hesitation to anyone involved in the hospitality sector. His service represents excellent value for money, but most importantly peace of mind within a sector that can at times seem a legal minefield."

Mumtaz - Taxi Driver Hearing

MRT Licensing Services represented Mr Mumtaz who had applied for a private hire driver’s licence to Preston City Council. Due to his poor record of licence breaches and motoring convictions, this resulted in his licence being revoked and referred to a hearing.

Against all odds we won the case and Mumtaz can continue with the application process in Preston.

The decision letter he received from Preston Council stated “The Committee was concerned about your history of offences and breaches of licence conditions. However, the Committee was impressed by your representations and agreed to give you the opportunity to prove yourself a fit and proper person to provide a private hire service to the citizens of Preston.”
